兰州市委常委、榆中县委书记周学海表示，感谢党群女士代表基金会千里迢迢赶赴榆中，帮助那些家庭贫寒需要帮助的孩子们，帮他们战胜病痛，传递爱与希望。同时也希望通过基金会这一载体，让善举流传，以榆中为根据地，向甘肃省需要救助的儿童播撒希望。

北京成龙慈善基金会自2008年开始，已向3000多名待救助儿童捐赠善款。榆中县位于甘肃省中部，地处兰州市东郊，2001年被列入国家级贫困县。
