“The Hobbit” Films’ Release Dates Announced

Everybody loved the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, and now director Peter Jackson is working on a pair of new prequel films.
“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is slated for a December 14, 2012 release and “The Hobbit: There and Back Again” will come out on December 13, 2013.
“The Hobbit” flicks will follow Bilbo Baggins as he endeavors to “reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from Smaug the Dragon.”
Martin Freeman will star as Bilbo, and series favorites like Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, and Elijah Wood will all be featured.

"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" Red-Band Trailer

Giving fans a first glimpse of the sure-to-be captivating film, the red-band trailer for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" has just hit the web.
Set to hit theaters on December 21st, the theatrical adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s bestselling book of the same name boasts an impressive cast including Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.
Also featuring Stellan SkarsgÄrd and Robin Wright, the drama/thriller was directed by David Fincher - who boasts a long slate of high-profile credits including "Fight Club" and "The Social Network".
For those unfamiliar with the story, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" sees "a journalist who is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing - or dead - for forty years by a young female hacker."
