There was definitely an air of victory as Hines Ward arrived at “Good Morning America” studios today (May 25) to celebrate his win on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Joined by his dance partner Kym Johnson, the NFL stud looked to be in great spirits as he chatted about his experience on the show.
With fellow finalists Kirstie Alley and Chelsea Kane also visiting GMA, Ward said of hearing his named called at show's end, "[When] I heard my name...I looked over at Kirstie and I was like, 'Oh geez.' Everybody loves Kirstie! So it was the fans that carried me through and I couldn't believe it!"
During the finals round last night, Hines and Kym definitely won the judges over with their version of the samba.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba proclaimed, “You learned how to lead in the dancing and you lead you partner out of an injury.” Len Goodman added, “Dance is the product, what is so appealing about you is the packaging.”
